Sixthman has had the same basic payment options for 10+ years, which included Choose Your Own Amount Automatic Billing and Total Automatic Billing. We recently re-evaluated the options and we have eliminated the ability for multiple cards to be used for automatic payments on a single reservation (known as Choose Your Own Amount automatic billing). This option is being phased out as events go on sale, which is why you might still see it on some of our upcoming events that went on sale prior to last month.
This change has been made to provide the best, most seamless experience for our guests. The Choose Your Own Amount plan was a consistent point of confusion and frustration for many guests, requiring phone calls and emails to cabin mates whenever a change was made to the reservation or any of the cards that were set up for payment declined.
If cabin mates are not comfortable paying each other directly for their portion of the cost, they are still able to make payments to Sixthman separately by adhering to the manual payment schedule. Manual payments can also be made in addition to Total Automatic Billing, and future automatic payments will recalculate accordingly. The terms of the $100 per person deposit option have not been affected by this change; $100 per person (or $200 for a single occupancy cabin) is a valid deposit if Total Automatic Billing is set up at the time of booking.
While we know this may be disappointing to guests who previously used this option, we believe that the current options will result in a clearer, smoother experience for more guests. -

Total Automatic Billing
Total Automatic Billing is used to pay the entire remaining balance of your reservation via automatic monthly payments. This can only be done with one credit card to cover the entire balance of your reservation.
What are the advantages of automatic billing?
It's convenient. Payments are automatic and evenly divided. No chance of forgetting to pay and being assessed a late fee.
What if my balance changes?
If you have automatic billing set up and your reservation balance changes (for instance, if you add a guest or upgrade your stateroom), we’ll adjust the payment amounts on the automatic billing plan and notify all guests via email. Your payment dates won't change.
Will Sixthman remind me before I'm charged?
Yes, Sixthman will email you payment reminders a few days before each payment is processed, and we'll email a payment confirmation after each payment is processed.
How many payments will I have and when will they be?
Payments will be monthly on the day of the month you choose. If a payment plan is canceled and a new one is created, the options may vary from the original plan. We cannot guarantee the same plan length and amounts upon reinstating a canceled automatic billing schedule.

No, only one automatic billing plan may be set up for the cabin in the complete amount of the reservation balance, Others on the reservation are welcome to make manual payments towards the reservation to recalculate the overall total at any time.

Sixthman's credit card processing company complies with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS), a set of comprehensive requirements developed by the major card brands to facilitate consistent data security measures. In order to protect your information, Sixthman doesn't store your credit card information, but for guests enrolled in automatic billing our credit card processing company does.

When a credit card is declined at the time of processing, an email will be sent to guests in the stateroom asking that they call in to update their credit card information within 7 days. After 7 days, the automatic billing plan may be cancelled.
